Sunny snowy Seattle

The beginning of the week was sunny but chilly.  Fun time at the park...
So happy to be in town for open house for Zach's new counseling center.
And great fun to see Bill and Renee...
Lots of track building and train vrooming...
Made strawberry jam with the kids.  Caden washed...
 and Zara smashed.

Cutie Claire is ready for church
Art projects with shaving cream and food coloring

And fun painting with colored evaporated milk...paint dried shiny and looked really neat
Car track made out of masking tape for a rainy, snowy day inside
Snuggle time with books and smoothies
Don't get as many chances to read to Z anymore...she loves to read!!

November week of fun

Lucas asked if I could make him some Shamrock football pants.
I couldn't find the right color but he sure seems happy with them.

Spent lots of time, as usual, watching trains
A few action shots of "the big game" with Grandpa

Every football player needs a big thermos, right?
 Lots of beat-ups
Lucas and I made monster cookies.
The kids tried them out after their naps.
Couldn't resist trying this OLD dress of mine on Sophie.
Lucas asked Sophie why she wasn't smiling for the picture,
so she starting acting silly.

Yes, it was 39 degrees out, but...Lucas had his football pads and jersey on.  It doesn't work with his car seat.  So he took them off in the car and rode like this.  I did have his coat along just in case, but he didn't feel the need to wear it.
A little hot chocolate and marshmallow break

Trick or Treat

Happy birthday, Lucas!

Saturday night tradition...pizza with chips and carrots.
We had so much fun listening to Lucas giggling while we watched "Despicable Me."
 Love this smile!
Can you see the frosting on his nose?

Seattle-October '11

Zara saved her money to get Molly's ears pierced, so we took a trip to the American Girl store.
Fun at the park

You can make a train out of most anything, and Caden does!
Sneak peak at some Halloween costumes-he he!
